人與樹這兩種生物,在我的思考脈絡中是等同的存在,不僅因其內在所誘發的情感雷同,兩者間的生存境態亦有許多可比性,讓我得以藉此思考關於自然、非自然之間的關聯。
樹木支幹的生長樣貌,與城市街道的構成存在著某種形似。人們用鋼鐵、水泥構成的塊體劃分界線,創造街道、巷弄這樣的空間。而街道樹則被限縮在這線性的空間裡,與人們互相依偎、成長。這樣互為表裡、虛實的存在模式,隱隱透著淡淡的詩意。
《街道樹》延續《流床》中的形式,使用清水混擬土翻製城市,把建築、街道的關係翻轉,製造出一個個負空間。再將植物的葉子鑲入凹孔中,以透明壓克力封印,葉片在展出時,因為缺乏養分而逐漸枯萎,最後終將形成一片荒蕪景緻。
The two creatures of people and trees are equivalent to my thinking context. Not only because of their inner induced emotional similarity, there are many comparability in the survival state between the two, so that I can think about nature.Non -natural association.
The growth appearance of the tree support is some kind of appearance with the composition of urban streets.People use steel and cement to divide the boundary lines to create space like streets and alleys.The street trees are restricted in this linear space and snuggle and grow with people.This is the existence model of the inside and virtual reality, which is faintly poetic.
“Street Tree” continues the form of “Stream Bed”. It uses clear water to blend the soil to flip the city, flip the relationship between buildings and streets, and create negative spaces.Then inlaid the leaves of the plant into the concave holes and seal it with a transparent acrylic. When the leaves are displayed, they gradually wither because of the lack of nutrients. In the end, a barren scene will be formed.
